  26.   Really? The last LK450's I purchased came with some really old software
  27. and a folded piece of paper which said that the software was unsupported.

  29.   This really bums people who want to use the LK450 with Windows 95, Win-
  30. dows NT, or OS/2. And some of us want to use it with our own Unixes, and
  31. the programming information is hard to come by - I had to have a Digit
  32. lobby the product manager on my behalf to get it.

  34.   If there are newer drivers and/or programming doc available, I'm sure
  35. a lot of readers would like to hear about it - I get several queries a
  36. month about my LK250 handler for MS-DOS Kermit, asking if it works with
  37. the LK450. [The answer is "sort of" - the LK450 has a really brain-dead
  38. incompatibility in its LK250 emulation, dealing with the key in the "com-
  39. pose" position on the LK250/"escape" position on the LK450. Somebody
  40. changed this on purpose late in the design cycle for no apparent reason,
  41. since none of the DEC utilities operate the LK450 in LK250 mode (they
  42. use one of the new LK450 extended modes).
